2 males nabbed for promoting stolen rectifier batteries

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Two males had been caught within the act of promoting stolen rectifier batteries owned by a telecommunications firm in Cebu Metropolis on Thursday morning, December 19.

The citizen’s arrest was performed alongside B. Rodriguez Road in Brgy. Capitol Website, Cebu Metropolis at round 10:00 a.m.

Police nabbed on-line vendor Bruce Quiñanola, 30; and Lindre Yano, 27. Each males are residents of Sitio Sto. Niño in Brgy. Sabang, Danao Metropolis, northern Cebu.

Quiñanola and Yano had been caught within the act of allegedly making an attempt to promote two stolen items of rectifier batteries that had been owned by a telecommunications firm. The objects had been reportedly price P120,000.

Police, in a report, revealed that the suspects had been turned over on the station by representatives of the telecommunications firm concerned. 

The corporate was alarmed in regards to the collection of robberies involving their rectifier batteries that had been taken off of the streets of Cebu Metropolis and province. On Thursday, the 2 lacking objects had been posted and had been placed on sale for P70,000 at a social media platform.

At round 10:00 a.m. on the identical day, representatives from the corporate organized a meetup with the sellers at Brgy. Capitol Website, which led to the arrest of the 2 suspects.
