Two Filipino traditional LGBTQ-themed movies, “T-Chicken at Ako,” starring the late Famous person Nora Aunor and Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos, and “Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay,” that includes the late Comedy King Dolphy and actor-comedian Rodrick Paulate, are set to return to native cinemas this June in celebration of Satisfaction Month.
Directed by Danny L. Zialcita, the 1982 traditional “T-Chicken at Ako” follows the story of Sylvia (Aunor), who finds herself in a fancy relationship with a nightclub dancer, Sabel (Santos), who unintentionally kills a person in self-defense after he tries to assault her.
Other than the veteran actresses, the film additionally options Dindo Fernando, Tommy Abuel, Suzanne Gonzales and Odette Khan, amongst others.
“Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay,” which was initially launched in 1987, is a follow-up to Dolphy’s “Facifica Falayfay” (1969). Within the sequel, the passing of Facifica’s partner (Pacifico, portrayed by Dolphy) impacts considered one of his youngsters, Rodrigo (Paulate).
