Liu first teased her “Stateside” routine earlier this week, after reporter Raymond Braun shared Pink’s message of assist along with her. Liu responded by calling Pink her favourite artist, and confirming that if she carried out on the Olympic Gala, she would skate to the “Stateside” remix. The Larsson-assisted “Stateside” remix appeared on Pink’s 2025 album Fancy Some Extra? The document gathered friends (Jade, Oklou, Ravyn Lenae, Nia Archives) and influences (Sugababes, Basement Jaxx, Kylie Minogue) alike to remix the British artist’s sophomore album Fancy That.
