Born and raised in Southern California, McRae discovered her calling in writing, be it essays, journaling and, in fact, lyrics. Influenced by basic songwriters like Carole King, Stevie Surprise and James Taylor, she additionally received a bachelor’s diploma in widespread music from the College of Southern California.
