Pinay’s involvement in Kuwaiti youngster’s demise an remoted case

MANILA, Philippines — The Division of Migrant Employees assured late Saturday that the alleged involvement of a Filipino home employee within the demise of an employer’s youngster in Kuwait is an remoted incident.

In an announcement, the DMW maintained that the incident doesn’t characterize the values of Filipinos and abroad Filipino employees.

“We on the DMW are deeply involved in regards to the involvement of a Filipino home employee within the demise of an employer’s youngster in Kuwait. We convey our honest condolences to the kid’s household and the Kuwaiti authorities,” it stated.

“The DMW, by the Philippine Embassy and Migrant Employees Workplace in Kuwait, is intently coordinating with Kuwaiti authorities whereas extending the mandatory help to the topic home employee, with due regard to Kuwaiti legal guidelines and the DMW mandate,” it added.

Previous to the DMW’s assertion, the Philippine embassy in Kuwait already expressed its unhappiness over the incident.

“We lengthen our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the bereaved household throughout this troublesome time,” stated the embassy.

“The Embassy is cooperating with Kuwaiti authorities investigating the incident and can also be offering help to the detained Filipino home employee, inside the framework of Kuwaiti legislation and consistent with the Embassy’s mandate,” it added.
