MANILA, Philippines – Port, gaming and infrastructure tycoon Enrique Razon has raised his stake within the African continent with the acquisition of a leisure property with a golf course within the municipality of Cape Winelands in South Africa.
Bloomberg reported that entities related to Razon have been shopping for Pearl Valley, a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, alongside the lodge on the property.
The vendor is a gaggle of shareholders that embody South African businessman and Olympic swimming gold medal winner, Ryk Neethling, it was additional reported.
Pearl Valley, which opened in 2003, presents a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course with a view of the majestic mountain ranges, based mostly on its web site.
The South African authorities’s anti-trust authority has accepted the acquisition.
